A roll-off bin, also known as a roll-off dumpster, is a large, open-top container designed for temporary waste disposal, often used for construction, demolition, and large-scale cleanups. These containers are specifically designed to be easily loaded and unloaded from a specialized truck, typically by “rolling” them on and off.

A roll-off dumpster is the workhorse of any home or business construction or remodeling project. It’s the perfect way to centrally and safely collect garbage and debris. After it is filled up, it is picked up and the waste is properly disposed of in the local landfill or recycled if that option is available.

There are many uses for a roll-off dumpster:

• Throwing out junk and broken items as you do some spring cleaning or spruce up your property to sell.
• Clear out yard debris and clutter.
• Had an estate sale and there was lots of stuff left over?  Fill a roll-off bin and let it find a new home at a local thrift shop or the Salvation Army recycle depot.  You are getting rid of your junk and helping your community at the same time.
• For remodelling or renovation projects including demolition and disaster rebuilds.
• New construction sites typically have a lot of waste and debris.

Typically a roll-off bin or dumpster will be placed in your driveway or on your property if it is being used for new construction. Since this is your property a permit should not be needed.  If you need to have your dumpster positioned on the street or in a public space then you may need a dumpster permit from the city.

You choose the option that suits your project.  A typical rental period is a week or 7 days, however we can offer a flexible daily rate if you need to go over that time period or if you only need the dumpster on site for a couple of days.

We can accomodate a variety of items such as furniture, non-freon appliances, construction and demolition debris and green waste from yard clean-ups.  Note that if you separate the materials inside the bin we then can easily compost or recycle the items that qualify.  We have a special partnership with the local Salvation Army Recycling Depot and will recycle what we can.  Hazardous and toxic materials will not be accepted.  For the full list Click Here.

Overfilling the roll-off bin can lead to additional charges.  The bins can carry one to two tons of garbage depending on the type of material.  Bins should only be filled to the top edge of the container with nothing hanging over the sides. Overly heavy loads may be charged an extra tipping fee.

We can usually offer delivery and pickup within a 24 hour timeframe however it is recommended to book your bin rental up to two days before needing it.
